Going to the game in Syracuse...Need advice...

Nov 8, 2015, 5:24 PM

Are there any spots I need to hit (restaurants, bars, etc...) and should I get a parking pass on stub hub or is parking not a problem? Thanks!

Park at Skytop. Use the shuttle buses to get you to the Dome.

Parking depends on where you are staying. If renting car, park on Syracuse campus. If staying downtown, catch a cab.

Eat in Armory Square section in downtown. Try Pastabilities.

Tmail me. I'm familiar with the area.

Bring your own gun. You might not get out without one without one and they don't have loaners or rental.

There are plenty of parking lots around the stadium but it's always a walk, no matter how you cut it. And it's Syracuse... So it's cold and hilly! Bring a jacket and wear comfortable shoes.

Further, everyone who has ever gone to a Syracuse game knows the place to pregame (if you're going the bar / restaurant route) is Chuck's Cafe. But, as a word of caution (and from experience).... You'll probably get heckled a bit, all in good fun though. They don't expect to win these games against us and have always been generally affable before the game.... Afterwards though? Don't expect anyone to help with directions or give you a high five. Everyone will be drunk and miserable. Don't linger around campus.

There is a lot for tailgating called Skytop. its a good place to park and have a few beers/food. there is also a bus that runs from skytop to the carrier dome before and after the game.

Dinosaur BBQ is great. Chuck's Faegans, and 44s are good bars if you like bars.
