"Any formal attack on ignorance is bound to fail because the masses are always ready to defend their most precious possession ----- their ignorance". I somehow get the feeling Hendrik had me in mind when he coined that phrase.

That got me to thinking, which just so happens to be one of my many weak traits. Have you ever noticed the difference between the two terms "you're looking good" and "you're good looking". By looking in a mirror, I can readily understand why no one has ever said to me, "you're good looking". But when someone tells me "you're looking good", I get the feeling I should ask the question, "compared to what"?

Well, tomorrow is garbage pick-up day in our area. I always have to remember to remain inside for several hours to prevent myself from being deposited in the garbage truck.
