Too many people know the combination, so she wants to have it reset.
Does anyone know someone that does that in the Pickens/Easley area? I called Discount Lock and Safe (Piedmont) because they are locksmiths that sell gun safes. But they never responded.

Many people know the combination? Outside of close family?
Seems odd.
Good luck finding someone who can change the combination for you.

Shouldn’t be to difficult it’s seems fairly modern being the 80s. Try and track down the manufacturer and make some calls.

LATE on a Friday night. 4 of us went upstairs and walked down a long hall. I was pointing out bedrooms, and baths, etc. We got to the end of the hall and there was a linen closet directly in front of us. The hallway was poorly lit. I opened the door for all of us to discover the depth of the closet...AND TO MY SURPRISE there was a full length mirror in the back of the closet. We all thought those FOUR people in the closet were going to murder us on the spot!!

Many thanks. And yes...lots of people know the combo. It was a family property. But, you know what happens to some "family" when they don't get what they think should be theirs.

The above poster is correct. When I got my gun safe, they told me to call the manufacturer if I wanted to change the combination.

Maybe check with Grady’s in Anderson. If it was bought in the upstate there’s a good chance Gradys sold it particularly if it’s a Browning safe.
