Heisman odds: did the voters see this past weekends games?

Dec 14, 2020, 12:52 PM

If you're rewarding who has the best season? then they may have a chance; but if you're voting for the BEST Player then there is only 1 choice: Trevor Lawrence

Heisman voters....

Dec 14, 2020, 12:57 PM

Haven't seen a game in years.

I do not know if Trevor is the best football player in the country ( I don't watch all the games either) but I know he is the best football player on the 2020 Clemson team and if along with his teammates they can win the last 3 games nothing the Heisman voters do will take away from National Championship #4

Well, Trevor is the consensus #1 overall pick in the 2020

Dec 14, 2020, 1:35 PM

NFL Draft.

Plus, Trevor has 20 TD passes and 3 ints. Book has 15 TD passes, and 2 INTS. Book has also played in 10 games, Trevor has played in 8 games, two less than Book due to Covid 19.

Absolutely, Trevor Lawrence is hands down the best QB in college FB, and they would have to go back many years to find one that could match what Trevor has done in 3 years of college FB. Right now, Trevor has a 33-1 win/loss record as a starting QB on a power 5 FB team. Trevor is the type of Heisman player that won the trophy 25-30 years ago, he is a true John Heisman caliber Player!!!!

Trevor Lawrence is exactly the type FB player the Heisman Trophy was intended for!!!!

there is an unfortunate group of finalists that are probably

going to win. Two QBs who are boring, unappealing compared to most years. Jones threw for 208 and had a pick against Arkansas which i would compare to Wake or Duke and Trask lost to a Syracuse type team and mismanaged and follied his way the whole game and in the end couldn't rally his team at home. I'd rather Devota Smith get it over those two. but we all know who woudl have ran away with it. Just some unfortunate occurrences this year kept him from it. But no question Trevor is Heisman favorite if we all really gave honest opinions. Full year being played i'd say the 3 invitees to NYC for the event woudl be Trevor, Fields, and Devonta Smith. But unfortunately its gonna to one of two guys who are "meh.." at best.

The winner will be whomever the SEC tells them to vote for.

SO why does the SEC not choose SEC players more often? 5 of the last 7 winners were not from the SEC.

I would say that reason would be that the voters didn't agree with ESECPN in those years!!!

I just don't think you will find many Clemson fans that wouldn't agree that the Heisman is a sham, or that there isn't any favoritism strongly pushing for certain players to receive that award!!!

Vegas bookmakers ought to be wearing masks of another

kind if they accept money on Iowa State, Oklahoma, or Georgia. Those schools don't even have a shot at some kind of peripheral "self declared" Natty. LOL. :)
