Mullen probably realizes this , since not coot-minded.

My inside source says GA Southern is a real player. Probably the same guy that had Dex going to NC state. What corner would not want to train against NFL QBs and WR. Your not going to see an NFL QB at LSU unless it's a 1 yr. transfer. You might have 3 at Clemson.

WHY should we listen to ONE WORD you say? Wrong all the time

Jan 29, 2016, 5:46 AM [ in reply to Re: Hearing bad news on Mullen. ]

Do you realize how many times you've incorrectly speculated about stuff on here?! Well, I do and here's just a few-

Remember saying this about Rashan Gary... "The bad news is that its doubtful he comes south."

On Mark Fields... "From what I've heard, he ends up at VT."

"I haven't heard anything on Saivion Smith's loyalty to Miles and staff" WRONG

On Rahshaun Smith... "He told my source that he was going to LSU."

"It is my understanding that as of about a month ago Rahshaun Smith had decided he was going to go to LSU." WRONG

"Not so sure about Rahshaun Smith. Prior to Edsall being fired, many felt he was a lock to Maryland."

On WR prospect Kyle Davis... "UGa has been counting him for some time." WRONG Kyle Davis committed to Auburn. WRONG again.

"I will be very surprised if Bryan Edwards does not ultimately sign with Clemson." WRONG

And dude you really dropped the ball of Stephen Davis Jr.... "His father wanted him to come to Clemson. Unfortunately the ACC had a rule against Prop 48 kids, and Clemson wasn't able to take him. As a result, he went to Auburn."

AND we ALL know how much you love those 24/7 guys and eat up anything they say. Cause it always ends up on here as soon as it is posted.

"So is Ryan Bartow the Dean of projecting recruits? He has a lot of contacts and makes good relationships with the recruits. If he makes a prediction he makes it off of good information."

WHY couldn't you just stick to this... "And honestly, I don't think I'll ever post anything that I'm told here again after having to defend it. Refute all you want. I stand by what I said, and I don't think that I have ever posted anything in this regard that was not ultimately verified as true."

^^^^ PLEASE JUST STICK TO THIS ^^^^^ Cause I never jump on folks but man every time you put something out there it is later found to be completely false as I've proven above.

My record speaks for itself. So when I see somebody write as if they're an 'insider' with a 'solid source' but this is what they come out with..... I gotta call em out. Dude, I understand that you want to be the recruiting guru on here, and that's fine. I know that you put alot of work into cutting and pasting information from other sites and don't want to step on any toes

I can assure you, regardless of whether this info turns out to be correct, I'll never post another recruiting related thing on here. But let me set the record straight, at the time that i posted the things listed below, they were true

> Remember saying this about Rashan Gary... "The bad
> news is that its doubtful he comes south."

It was doubtful that he was coming south when I printed it, and its doubtful now. If you think otherwise you're living in a fantasyland. Sure, Dabo can sell Ice to eskimos, but the lead that Michagan has is probably insurmountable.

>
> On Mark Fields... "From what I've heard, he ends up
> at VT."
>
Although he ultimately ended up here, he was a VT lean at one point.

> "I haven't heard anything on Saivion Smith's loyalty
> to Miles and staff" WRONG

I think you misinterpreted that. I was admitting that i didn't know much about Smith.
>
> On Rahshaun Smith... "He told my source
> that he was going to LSU."
>
> "It is my understanding that as of about a month ago
> Rahshaun Smith had decided he was going to go to
> LSU." WRONG

I stand by that. It happened. You can say it didn't all you want, but unless you are the kid, or my source, you don't know what was said.
>
> "Not so sure about Rahshaun Smith. Prior to Edsall
> being fired, many felt he was a lock to Maryland."
>

Do you not remember the people saying that he was a lock to Maryland because they hired his personal advisor, Corey Robinson, as well as the fact that Md. was his home town? I stand by that. Do you even know who Cory Robinson is?

> On WR prospect Kyle Davis... "UGa has been counting
> him for some time." WRONG Kyle Davis committed
> to Auburn. WRONG again.

Recruiting is a very fluid situation, just because a kid ultimately signs one place doesn't mean he wasn't silently committed somewhere else. I'm sure that you followed the Nkemdiche situation. There was a point where the Clemson staff thought he was committed to them, but during the same timeframe, Ole Miss' staff counted him on their board as well. It happens.
>
> "I will be very surprised if Bryan Edwards does not
> ultimately sign with Clemson." WRONG

That was a personal feeling based on what I had heard about his visit to Clemson, which was very good. I still think that Edwards would have preferred to come to Clemson, but his desire to play wideout overcame his wishes to attend Clemson where he was being recruited for the defensive backfield.
>
> And dude you really dropped the ball of Stephen Davis
> Jr.... "His father wanted him to come to Clemson.
> Unfortunately the ACC had a rule against Prop 48
> kids, and Clemson wasn't able to take him. As a
> result, he went to Auburn."

That was a mistype and should have read "his father wanted to come to Clemson." I'm dating myself on that quote but I've been following recruiting since his father was in high school. The fact that you didn't find the misprint obvious given the fact that I referred to "prop 48 kids" probably alot about your age.

When I post something on here, its generally because I heard something from a source that i trust which is contrary to what is being posted on the internet. I receive the information by telephone conversation or text from the person and not off of the internet. One of those sources is an analyst from 247 and he is very good at what he does. He actually builds relationships with the kids and reports what they tell him.

Jan 29, 2016, 10:05 AM [ in reply to Re: WHY should we listen to ONE WORD you say? Wrong all the time ]

Ray Ray McCloud had zero CBs to Clemson.

Christian Wilkins had zero CBs to Clemson.

The subscription base is too small for 247 to care about Clemson.

They love the coots because TBS might have the largest membership on there.

You have to take their opinions of Clemson with a grain of salt because they give zero respect to Clemson.

If' your insider is JC Shurbert, he and Bartow are the only one I mildly respect.

I will never forgive that POS site for ranking DW a 4*.

Re: Hearing bad news on Mullen.

Jan 28, 2016, 9:00 PM

Yeah - SurfCat -

247 may not be completely in bed with ESPN, but they certainly have an SEC lean on most of their predictions and stories.

They cover this up a bit by their claim of being an aggregate rank system that combines multiple services rankings.

Heck - the day before Dex Lawrence signed they still had him as around 75% to Florida....

Going with Rivals on this one. LSU is full on DB takes, and FSU doesn't feel like they lead for Mullen.

In addition to that, they have 2 rising Sr Corners who were at least 4 stars and 2 rising sophomore corners who were at least 4 stars.
