Yes, George, I agree, however, mine is bit more focused on this week’s opponent and in keeping with HCDS’ philosophy of not looking ahead. The limerick thread earlier made me think of it....

You are right about not looking ahead but dealing with the coots is a 365 day a year nightmare if you live here instate so they are my enemy all the time not just the week of our annual football game. I actually pulled for NC State to beat ND last week but I'd never pull for the coots under any circumstances because I believe in the "Carolina gamecocks- to hell with you" cheer so much. +1

Yeah, now that I live in ‘enemy territory’ (at the mountainy end of Tobacco Road), I hear the Carolina Blue sky line a lot. I just tell ‘em that in the beginning, and at the end of the day, God made the sunrises and sunsets Clemson orange, though!
