CLEMSON TEAM COMES FROM BEHIND TO DEFEAT No. 14 SYRACUSE 27-21

4th QUARTER RALLY DELIGHTS PACKED HOMECOMING CROWD, TIGERS NOW 8-0


I used the word "TEAM" to emphasize what I think is the most important take-away from Saturday. When DJ is having a bad day, the TEAM (in this case, CADE) picks up and carries the game. This should not be a discussion around who's the starter. This should be a discussion of how fortunate we are to have 2 talented QBs who can play together and deliver.

All this discussion (i.e. criticism) of so much of Saturday....no, it wasn't a stellar performance. But my gosh, the Tigs are 8-0. Who would have thought that 8 weeks ago? The "problems" we have are first-world problems. I can think of about 124 other teams who would love to have our "problems".

8-0, longest win streak in the country, longest home winning streak in the ACC (except for FSU years ago), a win away from winning the ACC Atlantic division. Life is good. I'm elated we found a way to win all these games. We are everyone else's Super Bowl. It's not easy to keep winning when every opponent throws their absolute best at you....

GO TIGERS!!!

The offense seemed to spark to life with Ship running like a Tasmanian devil and shedding blockers like a mongoose in a pit of cobras. He bounced through tackles like Ricochet Rabbit. Cuse defense trying to catch him looked like Wilie Coyote chasing the Road Runner.

It was as easy as Yogi Bear stealing a 'pick-a-nick basket.'

Good read except we have the ACC all-time home winning streak. FSU had 37!
