In 2006 when Oliver Purnell's team made it all the way to the championship game in Charlotte I went to all 3 games after buying tickets outside the coliseum.I got the Boston College and Duke tickets from a Maryland fan and the UNC ticket from an N.C.State fan.So what I am saying is buy the tickets outside the coliseum on game day from opposing fans whose team is lost on that particular day.

correction it was the 2007-08 season and not the 2005-06 season when the ACC Tournament was in Charlotte and I got tickets with somewhat ease

We went in Tampa somewhere back in the day. Tickets were basically free all the way through the finals. Place was pretty empty. Last time you’ll see that show south of The Carolinas.

Fans of the losing teams will be selling ticket booklets right and left.

They won't be cheap but they will be available.
