Jalen Williams, Brent Venables and a Saturday in June

Clemson's Jalen Williams was close to not becoming a Tiger. Fed up with the recruiting process, Williams didn't think his dream of playing major college football would come true. Then he met Brent Venables. Full Story »

Nobody wanted him and now he is playing ahead of 4* and 5* guys. I absolutely love this!

I wonder what ACC teams told him he was to short to play

I bet they wish they would have taken a better look after he kicks their but this year. I'd be interested to know if the chickens kicked him to the curb too?

Thank you for committing to us and becoming All-in, we will enjoy cheering for you each and every game.

Go Jalen and go Tigers!

He was rated as the 108th LB by ESPN then he was MVP

Of the north/south all star game. He was a 2/3 star lol.

Clemson LB commit Jalen Williams was the North's MVP after the North-South Game this weekend. The North all-star team won 38-21 over the South all-stars.

Williams finished the game with six tackles and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

Brent is a heck of a coach, it's hard to go against out coaches when they pick up a guy who is a 2 or 3 star.

Go Tigers!!

They said Grady Jarrett was too short, too

Sep 10, 2016, 10:43 AM

That turned out pretty well for Grady. It will for you, too, Jalen. Keep proving the idiots not affiliated with Clemson wrong.

Go Tigers!

Same thing I tell my son one of the fastest players on his team. Kid impresses position coach who then moves him to JV. Plays one scrimmage. Moves him back to the B team and now he can't smell the field because he's not the ideal height. He won the state in the 100 n came in 2nd in the 200 in his age group in all of SC this yesr.running even made the junior Olympics and medaled .It's not about the dog in the fight but the fight in the dog.
