I wanted to take a moment to express my sheer amazement and admiration for our new baseball coach, Erik Bakich. In just one year, he has orchestrated a monumental turnaround for our beloved Clemson Tigers baseball program. It's truly a sight to behold!
When Coach Bakich stepped in, he inherited a team that had been struggling and failing to meet its full potential under the previous coaching regime. However, with his exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and a touch of magic, he has taken our Tigers from being a non-contender to securing a top 6 national seed in record time!
But what sets this transformation apart is not only Coach Bakich's incredible impact but also the reunion he orchestrated. He brought back a beloved legend, none other than Coach Jack Leggett, into the heart of our program. The return of Coach Leggett has injected an unparalleled sense of pride, wisdom, and tradition into our team.
Coach Bakich's decision to bring back Coach Leggett is a testament to his deep respect for the history and legacy of Clemson baseball. Very well stated & a thumbs up....I know many of you were familiar with Bakich before he was hired & living up here I followed him while he rebuilt the UM program...His style is just incredible.....Go Tigers!!

he's not this charismatic juggernaut in front of the camera like Dabo, for example, but just knows what he is doing as a coach seemingly always making the right adjustments and decisions.
You know, these are mostly Monty's players - just better coached with a few key pieces added.

This is the best turnaround season since Monte’s 1st year when he won the conference championship reviving the program from the Leggett malaise.
