What would an early departure by Hearn mean for OL depth

Nov 14, 2017, 12:47 PM

FYI - Clemson currently has zero verbal commitments for 2018 class.

Redshirted 3, which is always good. Someone that follows

'cruiting mo closer may have some updates on potential OL.

It would seem odd if the staff goes a cycle with none.

Simpson steps in as the starter

and you have a battle for his backup. Who that would be determined next year, but we've played a bunch of OL this year, and are red shirting all of last year's highly rated class I believe

redshirted 2 4stars and 1 3star***

I feel like we will land either Mays, Salyer, or McFadden. 2/3 would be nice, and 3/3 seems impossible but I would never doubt Clemsons recruiting capabilities.

I think it really helps Mays having his boy Mike Jones already committed. Clemson is also closer to home so itll be interesting to see!

It won't help it, I can guarantee that***

I think we’ll sign three OL in this class ... they may

Nov 14, 2017, 1:26 PM

The may or may not be the ones everyone covets right now, but we’ll get three good ones to replenish the pipeline regardless.

Just because he is being honored on senior day doesn't mean he's leaving. Just means he's graduating and wants to be honored. That's what Dabo said in his press conference, at least.

He just wants to be recognized as graduating

I couldn’t agree more. Unless he is hampered by injuries or is tired of FB, I don’t see him going very far in the Draft if he plans to leave early. His stock can only improve if he comes back next season.

I feel Wilkens needs to come back as well. And that’s purely for selfish reasons. Could you imagine everyone coming back on D next season! Holy chit Batman!!!!!!
