Question to people who think KB should move to WR

Who is he beating out in our 2 deep to get on the field as a WR outside of maybe a gimmick play?
I trust the coaches to put the players on the field that give us the best chance to win. We have so much talent this year and it is a great problem to have.

I agree, it’s silly to suggest that KB could easily move to WR.

It is not an easy position to play. Sure, he is very athletic for a QB, but I don’t think his athleticism is that outstanding for a wide receiver. Plus, he would need to learn routes, blocking, pass catching, etc. No way he cracks the two deep as a WR for us.

I would think he could be a TE in the Ingram mold from Ole Miss. Ingram was not a huge guy but got it done on speed and athletic ability, not much of a blocker but a weapon from the position and produced WR numbers.

Or a safety. We are far too loaded with guys at the WR position who have played it their entire lives for him to break in to that gruop.

He is not going to NFL as QB. He may have a shot elsewhere. He is a gifted athlete.
I suspect we will see a 2 QB system at some point this year.

Perhaps KB winds up at safety. He brings size and speed, and we seem to be needing depth there. Moving an All-American DL to safety doesn't look practical.

ability, he could make an immediate impact in the screen game. That's a tall target that could also be a downfield receiving threat.
I'm not saying he should move to wide receiver, just that I wouldn't rule that out. He's a talented athlete. He could be outstanding.

much he plays as a receiver. Tight End may be best position, and I am sure Braden Galloway would wait a year if needed.
