Haven’t posted in a while......But need some info to show my husband!

First, my husband is a Tiger too... But he swears Justin Fields is better than Trevor!!?? Says he is just stating facts he has found! That JF only played like 2 years and threw for 4,000 yards and the reason TL surpassed DW is because he had all his high school years to do so! And every where he looked that JF was # 1 and TL # 2. And TL had 24 offers and JF had 42.. no sh*t cause Trevor was already committed! Give me some ammo on this PLEASE

 .. believe me I have!! We argued about this till wee hours and guess who has to go to work this morning!!?? It’s not me!! And I just showed him the RIVALS a minute ago and he said oh I looked up some more things last night, HA I bet you did!!

Tell your husband that TL was good enough to start for 4 years and JF was only good enough to start for one or two years. Also, TL broke DW watson’s GA he passing record while not staying in the game past halftime for most of the games.

Politely tell your husband that despite all his so called evidence you have a simple answer.
Trust Dabo and staff!! Ask him who is more knowledgeable, him or our coaches? Treat him like a sweetheart and ask him if hit his “HARD” head somewhere because is acting rather stupid in front of his fellow Tigers ??!!
He will get the message.

At this point - why in the world does it matter what these two kids did in High School? Arguing over who is better coming out of high school is a bit like arguing over which leopard has more spots. High School football is so varied in its competition levels that trying to compare High School players who didn't play against the exact same competition is an exercise in futility.
Both Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields are in the big boy college football ocean now and after this year no one is going to care what they did in the small high school minnow pond. A guy might be all world in High School, but if they aren't coached properly, work hard and improve they can end up riding the pine in college.
Just do like my wife of 25 years does - let the argument settle for now and at the end of the year when Trevor Lawrence has much better stats than Justin Fields remind your husband of how you were right all along and are waiting for his apology...

Mike Farrell who runs Rivals said that TL is the best player he’s ever scouted. PERIOD. In over 20 years of rankings TL is the best ever. That’s all the ammo you need
