Sirius XM. Anybody still use this? Worth it?

Thinking about getting it with my newer whip. Had it way back when they were still 2 separate entities. And probably cheaper.
I got a share with friend coupon for 3 months, at a dollar per. Then, $10.99/mth afterwards. Cancel anytime.
Worth it? Seems like I did pay near 13/mth way back when...
I've just used my SD card with about 30,000 songs on it for years. Or just occasional FM.

Used to listen to it every morning and afternoon to and from work - sports channels.
I prob should drop it as I rarely listen anymore.

If they would put out a talk only option with no music, I’d get that. Plenty of music on Amazon and Pandora to listen too. But I like my EPL, MLB, and NFL games.

trips to Florida in the Spring and Fall as well as listening to a lot of different college football broadcasts on our way to/from Clemson games. I find that I also listen to the Sirius web streaming on my phone quite a bit (talk radio). I do get a bit annoyed with the amount of commercials they have on broadcasts that they are already being paid subscription fees and find that their music channels repeat a lot of the same songs. But overall I still find Sirius XM worth keeping...

Like sports talk, or news talk? Or both?
I know espn morning shows insert their own ads occasionally, or stuff like that. You mean they add more if we're talking sports talk?

Sirius XM has commercial breaks in all of their talk radio shows. I don't really have a problem with their talk radio commercials because in many cases these same talk shows are satellite simulcasts of terrestrial radio station talk shows that depend on the advertising plus I'm sure the talk show hosts need an off air break every now and again - especially for a 2/3 hour show.
The commercials on Sirius XM's music channels do bother me because we already pay a yearly subscription fee for the radio service which also includes music royalty fees. IMO the music channels should be commercial free but I guess Sirius found selling ad space to be too profitable.

She loves it. With Ford's Sync version of the radio, she can get alerts on specific songs and/or artists.

I have it in both my sleds. Costs about $16 total. When your promo ends call them and say $11 is too much and they'll give it to you for like $6-7/mos
