Hats off to the Tiger football team and staff

Jan 9, 2018, 10:23 PM

for yet another exceptional season. Our boys were in the last New Year's Day bowl game of the night - prime time in the CFP - after losing 78-odd % of our offense and 2-time Heistman finalist QB. And we got right back. And we will likely do it again soon.

And get a load of the Class of 2018. Sakes alive. Already. These small classes and low attrition clearly show our coaches don't miss often. Plus, it shows they're true to the word commitment on their side - sticking with those longer-developing guys. Win and lose it's a joy watching this program operate.

Go Tigers.

One of the rare positive threads on this site.

If I didn't know better, based on several threads, I would have thought the coaching staff fail miserably this season and they all should be fired.

Some people may argue that there is still room for improvement. Sure, that's true. But I don't know how any of them would know how it's gonna fare out. If we put Choice or Fuller in the playoff, who know, maybe they could block better and KB2 would have more time to pass. And who knows? Putting Hunter Johnson in instead of KB2 all season, we could have missed the playoff.

It's easy to criticize after we see how things turned out.

In the end, I trust the head coach who has led us to 7 consecutive 10-win seasons, 4 ACC titles and 1 national title over some random guys on the internet who may or may not even be successful in their own life.

Overall we stayed true to form and finished higher ranked

than predicted for however many years in a row now. We didn't pull this one off, but it's hard to imagine us not being right in the thick of things on another upward trajectory right away.

Half of T-net (the other half) would have traded in a left nut for a CFP berth this past year. And boom.

What's there not to love?
