Which pair of teams will be in the Rose Bowl? I suspect 1 vs 4 but I’ve not read that anywhere

Committee would likely chose to put #1 Bama in the Sugar.

That would likely happen if Bama stays number one. I guess any sec team would be in New Orleans if they were one. I would like to see our Tigers play UF in the Rose and ND and Bama in The Sugar. A real possibility don’t you think?

No possibility .Florida has to knock off Alabama in the SECCG to get even get in. If that happens Bama drops to 3rd and the Clemson vs Notre Dame winner (the ACCCG) moves to #1.
If Clemson loses to Notre Dame, they are out .No way do they get in with 2 losses.
With Florida having 2 losses they would be out as well.
That leaves OSU, and the potential addition of Texas A&M, if they win out.

the number 1 team will get to choose the bowl they would like to travel to.. if im correct and if bama is 1.. they will choose new orleans.

No, the CFP Selection Committee chooses the site that least geographically disadvantages the #1 team. Teams can make their wishes known though, like when Dabo didn’t want the extra travel to Pasadena and said he would still rather play Bama in SEC territory with Kelly Bryant.

Guessing it will be determined later based strictly on team travel.
