Divorce is messy. There's no way to avoid the fallout of a family breaking apart.
Prayers for peace & healing.

Siriusly?
You honestly think nobody was going to find out and the best thing to do is ignore it instead of showing concern & support for the family of our starting QB???

Why don't you ask Big Dave himself what he thinks about you doing this and brace yourself for his response.

The family has asked for privacy. Do the right thing and take your post down.

Gotta back you man. If Big Dave himself tweeted about it the fact of the divorce itself isn't private.
What would be prying is if the OP speculated about particulars but that did not happen. "Respecting the privacy" is about prying for details and publicizing those...and there was no prying on this post. Nor should there be, on this board. That is the line, to me.
In this context it honestly explains a fair bit of the pressure going on with DJU...and we as a fan base might cut him a bit of a break. Hard to get one's head straight when one's family is going through something like this. Explains a lot, actually.
FWIW.
So yeah...my thoughts and prayers go out to all of them. That's always rough on everyone involved, and I hope things work out for the family.

Tough to go through this for any kid especially a young man that is 2500 miles away from his home and has the pressure of the Tiger Nation on his back.
Prayers for DJ and family

Why don't you guys spend the rest of the season trying to police the internet and shaming anyone that supports a Tiger family going through troubling times.
Some of you guys are truly baffling with your thinking.

Take this post down.
Saying “thoughts and Prayers” doesn’t give you the right to air people’s business on a public forum. At least take out the top two sentences.
Thanks.

Has DJ commented publicly about it recently?

What's the point in bringing this up here now? And why do we think this is a bigger deal now than it was last year? The smallest amount of internet searching shows that his parents split up in June 2019. The divorce filing came a bit later, but this has been something they've been dealing with for a while, including all of last season.
Unless DJ has said it's been an issue, why are assuming it's an excuse for our offense's woes?
Our offense has major issues that were masked by having both the best QB and the best RB in the country last year. The running game fell off mightily even last year though. We went from 6.4 ypc in 2019 to 4.0 ypc last year. Etienne went from 7.8 ypc to 5.4 ypc. Teams have figured out our run game, and our OL is simply not good enough.
