Board and everything about the game is different. Maybe I’m wrong, I just thought it was stupid not taking automatic points there( Potter would have made it).

Agreed. Admittedly I’ve never coached football at any level…

But I think the decision to take the points there was obvious. Get on the board, and take the lead first. It would be different if you were down 2-3 scores or if you needed to take a risk to try to turn the momentum in your favor, but at that point in the game (0-0), not taking the gimme 3 points seemed like a dumb decision, and I do think it changed the complexion of the game…
