Happy retirement, Coach Penley!

Thanks for all you have done for Tiger golf. Have known you for more than 35 years now, and have thoroughly enjoyed watching you and your program soar.

Interesting time for the announcement...right after we played Ohio State in football. Two of my earliest memories of you were staying at your bachelor pad back in the 80s when you and Mark Packer (aka Packman) were roommates, and making my one and only trip to Columbus OH to watch us play in the NCAA tournament. Also made my one and only trip to LA for the same purpose!

who did w play? I dont recall that one. I was there a few years ago when we beat them in the ACC B1G challenge in Columbus.

I've known Larry about the same length of time ..... great man and coach! I played in the ACC challenge (coaches and three boosters from each school) with Larry a number of years ago at the Cardinal Country Club Course in Greensboro. I also played with his dad, Bud, a number of times at the Tiger Golf Gathering. Playing with Bud made it easy to see why Larry turned out to be such a great man. Best of luck in retirement, as he sure earned it!
