Happy For Brice, But He Needs A lot Of Work..

This is not designed to be a critical post..In fact I am very proud of how this kid was thrown into a big spotlight and he did a great job. I think in part because he didn't have time to overthink things and just went out there an played ball.

Chase Brice managed a good game in the sense of good ball security when he was handing the ball off. He did a great job. But he needs a lot of reps to get the passing motion down. His ball placement was terrible. The great catch Hunter Renfrow had to make would have been a TD in stride had CB put the ball in the right place.....Brice only made a few passes and WOW were they great throws!!!!

Our bread is buttered with Trevor Lawrence and he needs to get back and stay healthy by being smarter in NOT taking hits that he can avoid.

I am glad we have a very beatable Wake Forest next followed by a Bye-Week to really allow the coaches to develop both of our QB's for the rest of the year.

Feaster and Eitene came to Clemson at the best time possible as they are going to be the work horses for the next several weeks. As Dabo said, we have to win games laying "Old School" Danny Ford Clemson football at times to win games and I must admit that it was fun to watch our O-Line run the ball down Syracuse's throat in the 4th QTR.

As I said it's not a criticism of Chase Brice. All I am saying is while we are all celebrating the fantastic job he did coming off the bench, we need him to grow-up a lot faster than expected.

I am very excited over how this teams is finding all types of ways to win games!

Grow up yesterday, he never will. But...he did.

And TL will be fine.

And the bond within this Tiger team is likely stronger than ever. I loved how the team imposed its will.

Yesterday's win was one of the most gratifying I've ever witnessed, from the fans on the top row of the upper deck down to the field...everyone was 'All In'. T.E.A.M. wins.

Agreed. Brice was probably nervous at first but after that int he caught fire. Everyone is talking about the 2 passes to Higgins and Renfrow but that run of 17 yards was pure determination and guts. Right there you just knew he was going to pull off the comeback.
