As did the Magi of old, upon visiting the Holy Child. The shepherds were said to have given the gift of obeisance. The tradition of gift-giving is as old as is the idea of Christmas, even older. And, then, did not Jesus give: his time, his insight, his wisdom, his life.

And, in both myth and legend, did St. Nicholas give to the poor.

A most excellent holiday tradition.

Jesus’ actual birthday was Aug 21, 7 B.C.

We celebrate his birthday on Dec 25 now because Christians wanted to co-opt Paganism’s holidays.

But I agree with everyone’s sentiments. An extraordinary man who showed us the light bd the way!

This is celebrate Jesus day indeed!

Jesus, God became man coming as an infant, foretold by ancient prophets, as our Savior. The Messiah. Hallelujah!

Son of God entered His creation sometime in the fall and not Dec 25th. The year could be between 2 BC and 5 AD.

The 25 of December is not The Great I Am birthday. Why do we lie and tell our children not to lie to us yet we tell them Santa Claus bought them toys?
