Had to say goodbye to my Sage today.

She gave a wonderful 13.5 years & I wouldn’t trade the journey with her for anything in the world. The house isn’t the same without the sound of her nails tapping on the floor. Or her barking when someone knocks on the door.

We had to put our lab down about 3 weeks ago. Had her for 15 great years. My wife and I bawled like babies at the Vet.
I still look for her when I come home every day....I know what you are going through.

Sage was a beautiful dog! Sorry for your loss!
We lost our 14 yr old King Charles about a month ago. It hurts.

I'm sorry you had to do it, but I'm sure she knew it was the right thing to do. They rely on us for everything, and for us to use our best judgement for them--and they never question it.
