I think you all should learn to use a little "reverse psychology" on these dirtpeckers. Just run it in the ground and drive it home to them about how they WILL NOT be playing for an $EC Title, NO BCS Bowl - even though are sitting at #8 with the same record as us at 10-2 in the BCS Standings. That alone should tell you what the BCS Bowl Committee's thinks of them and their fanbase.
If that's not enough, remind them that Duke Football has more Conference Championships than them. In fact, Waaaaay more. Do your research people!
Tulane for God sakes has 3 $EC Titles when they were members!! 1934, 1939, 1949.

Of course it sucks that we beat 3 teams that will be playing in BCS bowls, but you're not even playing for your conference championship either. DUKE IS.
The fact that our ranking is 8 and we won't be going to a BCS bowl has absolutely nothing to do with what the BCS committee "thinks of us." It's because two teams in the conference will finish with a better record and no one is playing in the NC. It's pretty obvious.

this week to Coot fans trying to rub it in. "Good luck in the SEC Championship this weekend". I don't say a word after that. About 1/2 the time they say, but we aren't playing this weekend Mizzou won our division. I then say, "I guess that is why you are so pumped about your one win season". The others just hang their head in shame because they know they will never win anything.

look pretty stupid IMO. Also one win season? They beat 3 top 25 teams this season. Better than us. I know many of our fans don't know how to be classy and be the bigger man and just congratulate them, but try it out sometime.

You clearly don't know how the BCS works. They will not be allowed to pick them, because the number of allowed spots from the SEC will be filled by the SEC teams ahead of them.

It's probably more of a referendum on the lack of true quality teams in the ACC compared to the SEC. The cannibalism of the SEC puts teams that double digit wins (SC, Georgia last year, Texas AM last year, etc) in non BCS games. If there weren't bowls that had to honor leagues, you'd see 5 SEC teams in BCS bowls.
The ACC has to take what they can to fill the bowls. If you were to just allot bowls based on final rankings, people would be more tired of the SEC than they already are, because they'd get more and more big time bowl spots.
