Gurley had 4 carries in 1st half for 44 yards

That's 11 yards a carry. The defense never stopped Gurley. Richt stopped Gurley for 3 quarters and then finally turned him loose.

I think Georgia's plan all along was to save Gurley until later when the defense was worn down. But Gurley got even less touches in the 1st half than I think was planned because after the 100 yard kickoff return they gave him a long rest.
