Other than 63-17

2003 win over FSU was memorable, as was the 99 loss sadly

Apr 20, 2021, 4:19 AM

But as Tommy pointed out every week half the teams win and half the teams lose.

Tennessee (2003 season/2004 Peach Bowl) is probably my favorite but Miami at the old Orange Bowl (2004) and FSU (2003) are very close behind

Tennessee and all the wins against the Coots. TB owned them.

There's something in these hills.

The year we finally beat FSU

Apr 20, 2021, 7:36 AM

Everything about that night was special. Lunar eclipse, I had my wife with me, and we'd just found out a few days earlier she was pregnant for the first time. And then we whipped FSU. It was a great day.

over the coots.

Also 2006 over FSU. First win at Tallahassee since 1989. Wild game.

31-7 over GT in 2006

Apr 20, 2021, 8:28 AM

What a great day in Clemson with College Gameday there for the first time. I really felt like we were going to win the ACC Title and make a run at the national title...but it all went south from that point.

I think this would be my non-63-17 top 5

Apr 20, 2021, 8:30 AM

2000 USC
2001 GT
2003 FSU
2005 USC
2006 Wake

Maybe not quite in that order, but pretty close to that order.

When did Clemson ever beat USC under Bowden?

when he recommended the WR coach as interim.

GT - at home - night game

Apr 20, 2021, 1:38 PM

Don’t remember the year ... 2000-2003... GT had been consistently whipping us with their predictable option ... Clemson was in full celebration mode

2005 over coots

Was in the stands got to watch their little hearts break. The rednecks around me thought they had that one in the bag

There are too many to count..........

His first year I was thrilled when we beat UVA 33-17. We were the underdog and we outplayed them and outcoached them. We won a thriller at Wake and finished the season by completing the 0-11 season for the chickens.

His second year we started 9-0 and wins at home vs NCSU had everyone thinking we had a good program again.

But 2001 let me know we had been fooled. Unfortunately, it took others alot longer.

I give him credit for the 2003 finish. Beating FSU was a great win even though FSU wasn't as good as they were ranked. Beating the chickens 63-17 will always be awesome, and beating Fat Phil and the Vols in the Peach Bowl was great.

TB just had too many head scratching losses. I still can't figure out how we lost to the chickens in 2006. I'm glad he is gone and we are on another level.

Beating FSU in 2003. I was a student then and helped carry off the fg post.

Even with that mass of humanity carrying it, I thought that thing was gonna crush me if someone fell or mishandled their section.
