Grice hada terrible start to the season for sure, but he has really come around in the latter part of the year both in the field and at the plate. He strikes out a lot but most power hitters do

I was told my someone that grice refuses to change approach after coaches tell him. Not sure how true that is. From a media person who covers baseball. If that’s the case that’s poor reflection on staff.

His dad’s a hitting coach, not a coincidence. Grice is a great athlete and young man and comes from a great family. To say he’s not listening to the coaches is asinine. Stop throwing the kid under the bus for your own agenda.

Caden’s problem seems to be “Trouble with the Curve” (Clint Eastwood movie reference).
If I were Monte, I’d make sure Caden saw nothing but breaking balls the entire offseason.
And it probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to get him on a Cape Cod league team this summer.
The kid is a star …just needs to solve that one nagging problem.
