The Cleveland Cavaliers are promoting assistant Greg Buckner to associate head coach, sources tell ESPN. Buckner played a significant role with J.B. Bickerstaff in elevating Cavs’ defense into one of league’s top five last season.

He always gave max effort and that was back when the acc was stacked with elite nba talent. To this day, I can still picture his game winning dunk against unc in the acc tournament. Great memories, and sounds like a great opportunity for Greg.

Hopefully he’ll be ready to be a Tiger again next season, he’ll make a great coach.

My question is will those supporting our current coach support Greg the same way in that role!
