Don't know if he would be able to be a difference maker if he comes back late and tries to get back into a playing mindset. Can Brownell afford to get him back into the fold going down the stretch.

A lot of great teams have had that guy they can insert in certain moments to knock down some 3s.
I’m envisioning Hemenway being that guy in March…
and dare I say April?

No he can’t redshirt and he is going to give it a try probably against Miami next Saturday. Alex has been shooting and doing cardio but no real basketball activities. Plantar fasciitis is about pain management but if you are hurting too bad you certainly can’t play high level basketball. I was a 5k and 10k road racer for years and had multiple bouts of plantar fasciitis and it is painful and heals very slowly.

can't RS. BUT... BUT....he does have the covid year he can use. He can play as much as his foot will allow this year and still come back next year if he chooses to.

This team has a shot at being a very good basketball team. Don’t hold anything back.
We won tonight, despite our lack of an inside game and the Noles shooting lights out 35’ bombs. That is a serious positive; but it won’t work against top-their ACC opponents. “living off the three” frequently means “dying from the three”. An effective inside game in basketball is analogous to a running game in football. A hot hand throwing the ball can delude you that there is no benefit to an inside running game. Until you need six inches (no intentional FM reference) to win the game.
But the glass is full. We won a really tough game on the road with a couple their guys having career games. Go Tiguhs!!
