It was called the dandy dozen, and if you're 25 or older, and was a Clemson fan when Dabo was hired as HC, then I'm sure that you remember it was called the dandy dozen, and a dozen equals 12, and it don't matter what name was put before dozen, it will still equal 12

Thanks for the reminder! I guess a lot has happened since 2009 that took place of things like the nickname of that recruiting class. They turned out to be pretty good and we moved forward from there.

We can't, we won't, and I don't know how many times that coaches, and fans alike will allow it to sink in, without depth that plays the same as starters, winning championship is near impossible, and I believe without a second thought, that Dabo knows, and understands that as well as anyone!!!
Coaching changes on just one side of the ball will usually hurt most FB programs to some extent, unless you are Bama, OSU, and the likes of, but when losing the DC, and OC at the same time has to be very difficult to recover from. Personally, I don't remember that ever happening to a team with the HC still being in place. We usually only hear of that when a HC is fired, and everybody that worked on the staff usually goes along with the HC...
IMO, Dabo has a lot on his plate right now, and it will be IMO, a miracle if he gets us back in playoffs within the next two or 3 years. I hope that God looks at Dabo as being very special, and he loves FB, Amen!!!

I'm sure they are great people and players. It isn't a knock on them. People are upset because we need 10-15 more players. And I really don't understand why this class is so small. Now we are left with two choices that go against the Clemson strategy, either picking up remains of other teams recruits in Jan or using the portal. I do applaud our staff for their ethics and treatment of recruits but there is no way Clemson should be 14-18th in recruiting!

Now it boils down to who has the biggest $$$. It is going to be difficult to keep up with some schools in number with the NIL and I should be starting Portal. The NEW COLLEGE FOOTBALL VERSION 2021!!!!!

I trust in Dabo. We have extenuating circumstances for the small "early" signing day class--due to the loss of both our coordinators, particularly with the loss of Coach Venables (who had a fantastic reputation even before he arrived at Clemson), and with the additional loss of nine players to the portal during the course of the season.
However, remember two things: 1. We can still sign players until early February, & I believe we will in fact sign 3 or 4 players before the second signing; and 2. We can still sign transfers from the Portal--hopefully, Coach Pearman has taken his new job seriously in monitoring potential talent in the portal to recover some of our Portal losses. We've had a couple of hiccups, but I believe Dabo & the coaching staff he has picked will recover in the short term!
