Few take aways

1. Besides Trevor and etn this team did great with less talent than previous years . Love c Powell and Amir has been awesome ( but they are not in the same category as Ross , Higgins , Williams from a talent stand point ( more along the lines of a. Scott and jaron brown although great players not 1st RD draft picks , makes what Trevor did even more special ! Give him osu or Alabama’s o line and receiving corps and there is no telling what kind of stats he could put up!

O line struggled almost the whole year ( carman seemed to have taken a step back and besides the acc championship game vs nd I don’t remember them winning the line of scrimmage against any good teams. Usually it was them losing the los against sub par teams . Also Trevor and etn makes a sub par o line way better so this was prob the biggest issue on the season IMO .

D line is very young . B.b and m.m will be stars but were true freshman but I don’t think there was another 1st round talent ( maybe t Davis ) expecting the power rangers every year is not realistic even for elite teams. Corners have talent but again are young . B v needs nfl corners , for his defense to be elite ! Dk has physical talent but got beat a good bit by nfl receivers , might have first round talent with the young guys but think this group will be better next year !

Safety’s???? Not much talk about the safety’s but this seams to be the biggest hole on defense from a talent stand point . Not sure any that played this year will be on an nfl roster for more than a year or two? Love n turner him and j.s were the heart of the defense . Be great to get them back from a leadership stand point !

On the sugar bowls , I think this year there was just to much for bv to overcome ( no film to study , no time to get dialed in. Lots of injury’s this year to the d. Corners who were not ready to Mach up 1 on 1 vs nfl receivers ) do he can blitz young d line who couldn’t control the los were all factors . ( plus two qbs that played out of their minds will play a long time in the nfl )

Still a great time to be a tiger fan ( anyone remember the days when we needed a blocked kick to beat wf? )
