On Sunday Parks was moved to the regular Children's Hospital floor for additional recovery  No more ICU!!
Parks is truly a remarkable fighter and has made huge progress these last few days... So much that when the physicians rounded (stopped by to check on Parks) this am they mention the word discharge!!! Parks will have another Echo tomorrow and they will monitor his medications and Blood Pressure for a few more days; but if all goes well and he continues to improve, he may be home by the weekend!!!!
My next post, whenever it will be, will be a picture of me and Parks so that you all can see who you have been praying for. I might even try to get Parks to put on something orange, but for two coots that's a lot to ask.
I also appreciate the kind words many of you have said about me. Coaching is something I feel called to do and it has blessed me more ways than I can tell you.
Lord, we pray for good Echo results tomorrow & for continued healing of Parks' heart and lungs!!!

That's what it's all about and it sounds like this young man has a ton of fight in him! Which is odd that's he's a coot, but very happy that we see the light of discharge! It's not over yet and we will keep praying. God bless Parks!

have come to Parks and his family. I am so happy for you as well. I appreciate the updates and am very excited for this young man. I will continue to pray for a great recovery. Yes, discharge is a magnificent word. Before you know it, he will have that date on the little dry-erase board in his hospital room. Congrats on leaving ICU. Wow, such wonderful answered prayers.

I have a serious weakness when it comes to children regardless of the bad choices their parents make. Parks will be added to my prayers. I just learned of Parks illness, but rest assured coot, God looks after his little children even if he doesn't hear a peep from us adults. But he does love hearing from us when our children are in need of his miracles... God bless you and your family!!!
