Lots of talking heads and blather on the NFL, draft, and I wondered if most of the commentators had much of an appreciation for the early history. Only stumbled across this while reading "When Pride Still Mattered", the Lombardi bio.

Also learned that the 1947 Heisman winner, Johnny Luzack (ND, undefeated that year and national champ) is still alive at 95 years of age. That would be a great guy to talk to.
