From the bottom of my heart, I thank everyone for their prayers this week! They haven't gone unanswered! Our Lord is a gracious and loving Lord! Dad isn't out of the woods 100% yet but all indications point to his clot being stable and should be able to make a very good recovery including being fully functional. We also heard good news on his oral cancer (which was the surgery that he was supposed to have yesterday before he had his stroke). The tumor has not spread into his lymph nodes and is still very small. We are actually thinking of getting a second opinion about even having the surgery to avoid this risk again.
