Grady Jarret, Cam Irving (FSU), and Vic Beasley.

I think Grady Jarrett is the X factor in our DL vs their OL. Most teams have pulled help inside to help the center vs Grady Jarret. Vic has benefited from this. Cam Irving is 6'6' 320 lbs at left tackle. On passing downs this is a bad matchup for FSU IMO. Vic is at about 240 this year and I've seen him take 300 LB tackles into the QB because of his strength, but his explosive speed is killer. I don't see a man that size containing him. I think they have to bring help and Jarret smashes them inside. I really hope Crawford and Lawson are ready, because their will be opportunities there to get after Winston.

I want Winston running for his life, just like Major Harris did in that bowl game many years ago.

Observation by ESPN is that Winston's mobility....

...has masked some issues on their OL. They point out Ervin's inability to deal with speed off the edge. If they double Beasley consistently, someone is going to be able to set up shot in FSU's backfield.

I would bet BV will have our defensive packages ready to exploit their weaknesses. I imagine Jimbo Fisher will try to do the same to us. I hope we can hem up Winston and tie their receivers up all night. Winston has to run out of luck at some point. He has had some unbelievably good luck on some of his completions.

With Famous comes lights. Those lights will be stars before the night is out.

yes Beasley can get up field but we just can't let Winston get to the edges. flush that little focker back into the LB's and we will be alright.

he won't likely be throwing at that point, more like running for his life to find some yards on the play. We gonna be bringing it.

the "unsung" hero of the internet because he's quietly handled the interior offensive linemen pretty well all year long---Hard to disagree with that assessment--. The fact that he does handle the interior gives Vic and Corey et al, a lot more opportunities to shine
Many times, the "grunt" work along the interior will find Grady and Spencer and Stephon, etc, at the bottom of a lot of piles.....for a reason. Many times they are "the wall" Pete Yannity is so fond of mentioning. Them boys is big and strong and Grady and Spencer especially can get a bad attitude on the field from time to time. I love it and I love watching those guys work.

I disagree with Irving being a bad matchup for FSU.

He's a likley 1st rounder, and his size isn't an indication of lack of athleticism or inability to handle a speed rush. He's got light feet, good balance, a quick kick step, and bends well for a tackle of any size. He's an athletic, physical tackle. This will be Beasley's toughest matchup of the year so he's gonna have to bring his A++ game to have the same type of impact that he's displayed so far. Should be a great matchup between 1st rounders, but Vic could get the best of it with a nice sack/strip deep in FSU territory.

I will agree that he's a big, imposing specimen and quick for his bulk.
That said, I believe he will be exposed for an inability to consistently stop a speed rush. It will certainly be an interesting matchup.
