Clemson sighting in Destin, FL

I live in Florida near Destin and we have a Tiger Paw flag on our boat. For Fathers' Day we took the boat out to Crab Island where several hundred boats tie up on a sand bar any given day. The missus (also a Tiger) joked that I would see the first Clemson flag and stop them to talk. We found a nice spot and put down the anchor, and within 10 minutes a lady on a floatie asked if we were from Clemson. They are a family from Vietnam and live near Spartanburg. He's a software engineer, kids go to Boiling Springs Middle School and Dabo Summer Camp. Love it that my little paw flag on the boat always drives a conversation. Go Tigers!

Just got back from Santa Rosa Beach / Destin, etc. I was really surprised not to see a Paw on any of our outings.

Back in 1969-1971, I lived on Santa Rosa Island before it started to explode with new construction. Beautiful area. I might have been the only one with Clemson paws, stickers on my car at the time.

Here. Many are military or retired military with multiple AF, Navy, and Army bases. The Emerald Coast Clemson Club averages 25-40 fans viewing Clemson games at a pub in Destin - more for away games because so many of us drive the 7 hours for home games.
