Got the best college football weekend planned!!!!!

Ok, so a little background. I lived in ATL for 10 years before moving to Charlotte. My best friend is still in ATL so we planned on staying with him to go the Clemson Auburn game. He is a huge UGAy fan. We are leaving Thursday afternoon for ATL, friday is golf, and a cook out with all our old friends. Saturday we are heading to UGAy for the Buffalo game (in my orange) before heading to the GA Dome for the Clemson game (in his red). Hate to say it but kinda looking forward to attending two major college football games in one day; never did that before.

Back in 2008, I attended the UGAly (see what I did there  game against Georgia Southern at noon, then left and drove to the hotel in ATL to go to the Clemson-Bama game.
Other than the outcome of the Clemson game, going to 2 games in one day was pretty sweet. Tiring, but awesome.

can't remember the year (mid 90's) but I did a noon clemson/nc state game and left early 4th qtr and made it the 7:30 uga/tenn game in athens. Great adventure! I hope the traffic into atlanta is in your favor.
I've always wondered if the schedule ever lined up such that duke/unc/ncstate each have a home game where one kicked off at noon, another at 4, and the last one at 8pm, I think it'd be really cool to do 3 in one day.

You left a Clemson game early to go watch the sec?

Living there for a while i know most of the back roads but honestly, the ATL traffic I am not concerned with because we will take MARTA. I am more worried about getting out of Athens. But with it being Buffalo it should be ok.

Buffalo or not, 316 after a Ga game is a nightmare. Don't even bother taking MARTA....it'd be more of a hassle than just driving to the dome

when Clemson has a noon/1 kickoff and SCAR has a 7:30 kick, it's not that difficult. Skipping out on the first game a few minutes early is the drawback. You miss some prime tailgating time with the travel too, but it's great fun to do.
Also been to a couple Clemson/UGA games in the same day. Several years back, went to Clemson-FSU in the day and UGA-Tenn that night. Last one I attempted.

I think I saw a short bus half- filled with members of the Charlotte chicken club at the ACC Championship......not after the 3rd quarter of course..................

apparel of a team that your not even watching, remember that you will be in athens and they gotta rowdy classless bunch down there...for your own safety id keep my clemson stuff in the car until you leave athens
