Got surgery on my torn meniscus yesterday

Some of you may remember me posting about how i tore my meniscus when I was celebrating our NCG victory. Just got surgery on it yesterday morning and recovery is going well

I think it's kind of a club once you have tear something in your knee. For now on you will always notice people's knees while you watch various sports. I tore my ACL and had reconstructive. The good thing I can tell you, is that I can't even tell that I have ever had surgery. You should be back to 100% with solid rehab. Anyway, good luck! You should be just fine.

Had mine repaired 2/20

Had meniscus surgery 2/20. Don't push it, I tried to do too much a little too quick and it didn't help with the swelling. 3 wseeks out I am feeling pretty good though

Did you get a repair or just a removal? They removed a piece of mine since I had a beak tear. I can't really put much weight on my leg right now. Really sucks I can't drink beer since I'm on these pain meds

it did still hurt. DO NOT take ibuprophen..advil...all that stuff, even tho the ortho will tell you to take 4 at a time! Kidney damage is a real possibility and it's a lot worse than meniscus!
