Got invited to the races last weekend

Dog races, that is. Kinda on the DL, if you will, as in 'not sanctioned' and stuff. Ten-dollar admission, no limit bets, bring you own bottle and whatnot... sounded kind of cool. But then I found out the dogs were pit bulls, and I simply couldn't accept. The risk of becoming involved in some race related incident was just too great.
