Good teams win games, great teams ...

Growing up I had a coach who would always energize the team at half time by telling us "Good teams win games. GREAT teams come back from losing and find a way to win"

FSU is a great team. Their wins may not be pretty. They may not be decimating their opponents in the same way they did last year. BUT at the end of the day, they are flawless on the Win/Loss ratio. That is an extremely challenging feat regardless of SOS.
