Good morning everyone how was your weekend?

Friday night, went to the first Friday thing in Greenville, bought a couple gifts, checked out the work GBX did, ate some Lost Cajun.
Saturday, mowed the lawn, went to pick up a special beer at Tetrad, and watched football.
Sunday, lazy day, got a little sad when the BV news became official. I knew he wouldn't stay forever but wish he was going some place I didn't like to make fun of so much when they choke.

Fri - Fishing with my dad and brother, we caught 55 total bass, awesome weather.
Sat - Fished a tournament on Greenwood. NOT TOO GOOD. Had 1 keeper fish and lost several good uns. Grilled steaks for dinner and watched a movie with kids.
Sun - Church in the morning. Played at home with kids. Mounted the electric hoist in the garage. Dinner at church. Kids in bed and played at home with wife. BV gone to OK, that #### tigermanac®.

Friday: Watched a great bball game (which means I wasn't in Clemson)
Saturday: Installed my new shelves that hide my pistols.
Sunday: Tried to make some more mash. Ended up scorching stuff so I had to dump it all out.
That's about it.

He held the chihuahua too close to his face. Guy bled like crazy. Son took him to the E room. He's ok, just bit off some skin on tip of nose, lol!

Friday night, not much. Saturday morning I went and saw mom and took her groceries and dad's Christmas tree from the nursing facility. Wife took kids for Christmas play practice at Church. We reconvened for lunch and then all went to Walmart and bought toys to donate, and would have paid off a layaway, but they don't do them anymore. Bishes..... Then went next door for a Sam's run. Came back and watched Home Alone (originally planned to be Polar Express) and drank hot chocolate.
Sunday was covid day at the church. Christmas play was normal, 300 people packed in like sardines into a big room. Also sang songs. Textbook superspreader event, lol. Play was awesome. Middle son had a few lines and his uncle dressed up as the donkey and he got to drag his uncle (the donkey) around, was funny. Youngest was a lamb. Oldest aged out. Then oldest had his last confirmation class Sunday afternoon while wife, I, and middle son went to the Lexington parade. Middle son was on the cub scout WW2 vintage Army truck.
Left the parade and went to Publix for our groceries. Wife took kids home. Oldest brought home from confirmation class by pastor.
Washed a load of laundry in all this somehow. Oh, and son's bed broke (again) Sat. night, he's been on an air mattress 2 nights now. I will fix (again) it today sometime.
Oh, and fishy died. 3yo beta fish had not been eating a few days. Finally determined dead Sat. night. Jingles, the ####### elf we have to move around, was placed in respect next to his tank.
Ok, I think that's it.

American Aquarium show in Charlotte was stellar. And I had to work Friday, LOLUTZ.
Friday, visited with Mom for a couple of hours, came home and ate, had a few sips o'bourbon and laid up in the Big Chair until I went to sleep.
Saturday, spent most of the morning cleaning out all the studio gear I never use and sold it off to my buddy at the music store and now have a bunch of credit there, took Mrs. out for a little Christmas shopping excursion late afternoon, grabbed pizza on the way home. Watched Baylor earlier in the day and the Wake implosion Saturday night but missed the whole Georgia whoopin'.
Sunday, more chores, a grocery run, then over to sit with Mom since Sis had a function to go to. Got Mexican take-out and watched the most NFL in a single day that I have in years. Got home from Mom's around 10:30, walked pup, and crashed.
16.5/19 Covids, 0/1 Venables.

Spent the weekend on Sugar Mtn doing the family Christmas celebration and collective feast. BIL smoked a turkey on his BGE which was purty good. All the obiligatory sides and desserts accompanied the bird.
Actually skiing on Sugar despite 60 degree weather.
8/10 (Sugar does not report the RH Covid rating)

Friday - wife was at girls night at a friends house, so it was pizza for the kids and I. I watched Old Henry after putting kids to bed.
Saturday - basketball and more basketball for my son. He rocked it…was awesome to watch. Watched football, took kids to playground. Then we had an adult only Christmas party at my in-laws. It was actually fun. My wife’s uncle was a small time college football coach, so I love watching games with him, just like I did with my dad, it’s like he knows what is going to happen on every single play and sees it all.
Sunday - church and then to a community bake sale. Bought enough cookies and cake to feed a village. Rest of the day was super lazy. Took my daughter to swim lessons but other than that, it was football, cartoons and sleeping.
7/10 - weather was terrible all weekend.

Friday: scokker tournament in town, had some coaching buddies over and we told stories way too late, until about 3AM, which is important because
Saturday: my fat ### was up at 5:30 to help out. Watched my daughter play, got a concussion in her second match, so that was a bummer. Great weather and soaked up probably the last 76 degree day in December. Hung out again with friends, got to bed much earlier
Sunday: last match of the weekend, went home and crashed for a few hours, saw BV left and was bummed a bit but then I remembered we still have TE, amirite Obed® ?
There should be only one question the next AD should be asked in his/her interview: "How fast will you fire Brad Brownell ?"

Went on a date Friday night with a girl that used to be one of the Jasmine princesses at Disney. Date lasted until she had to go to work this morning. It was a really good weekend.
I’m just now finding out about BV. Bummer.

I've now learned non-donors can't delete posts.
Friday: Worktrip to BFE. Ate some decent BBQ but was somewhat disappointed given the buzz around the restaurant. Back in town for Wifeof to report that sonof has come down with his third ear infection in the past few months. Yay teething. Got VERY little sleep. D.
Saturday: Babysat/played nurse while wifeof worked. Watched the championship games. Good day of football. Parents came over in the afternoon. Cooked homemade pizza for early dinner. They watched sonof while wifeof and I went to a Christmas party. Had an absolute blast. Miraculously, sonof slept through the night despite being sick. B+
Sunday: Skipped church due to sonof's fever. Hung Christmas lights outside. Helped parents hang some mirrors in their newish house. Grocery. Long walk with the family. Pork chops, rice, and swiss chard for dinner. No sleeping miracles as sonof was up, on and off, until 2:30 and up again about 5:15. B-.
Overall: good family time, fantastic party with friends but goodness I'm exhausted today. Three Christmas parties coming up this week so I advise investing in coffee stocks. B- overall.

Found out Friday I get a new boss late this week or early next week, and our whole section gets moved up under corporate. No idea what that means for my job, and whether I keep it or not.
Later, watched the rest of "lost in space". Turns out I was paying attention and they do leave out some kinds of major "How did that happen?" stuff. If you aren't super into that show, I think I'd find something else to watch. Captain Flint/Gustave Graves isn't a great actor unless he's a villain.
Saturday I went to the IOP Christmas/street party. They closed down Ocean blvd from The Windjammer (corner of JC long blvd) about 100 yards north to the Ben and Jerry's (Pavillion Drive). They had some craft type vendors, and a few restaurants had tents, and Hans Wenzel and the 86'er's played on a stage. It was interesting when they played Audioslave's "Cochise" and then Zeppelin's "Good Time's Bad Times". I think about 40 scared IOP soccer moms started running to their cars. Always good to see those guys especially within walking distance.
Slept late Sunday, then took the dog for a walk on the beach and had a beer at the dinghy on the way home. Came back home and stared at TV the rest of the day. I kinda feel like I'm in a slow motion train wreck--lots of changes happening in the next few months and I'm not sure I like any of them.

The writing this season seems atypically bad.
Mom Robinson is strapped to a bomb and they have to spend 5 minutes talking about how Judy thinks she expected too much from her while growing up. Srsly? She's about to die, and you're worried about that? Every character goes through some stupid really poorly time character development like that. And major things just kind of happen and I'm like "Did I miss where that happened?". That occurred about 2-3 times in the first 4 episodes and I thought I just wasn't paying attention, so I started really paying attention and it still happened.

Lazy....

Had my boss(es) in from Germany the entire week and I was worn out come Friday afternoon.
Brought my wife home some take out and I went to bed.
Saturday...went to Greenville to buy a leather recliner from some guy from facebook marketplace for my son to use for gaming. Lunch at Saffron...good as always. Hit up Fresh Market...they had filet mignon on sales for $19/lb, so got a bunch. Watched a lot of football.
Sunday...spent the morning trying to find a decent hotel in NYC for the weekend before Christmas. Taking my son to the Giants/Cowboys game on the 19th as an incentive/reward for him. Prices of rooms had doubled (at least) since originally looking 2 weeks ago. Got a room near the Queens Plaza station for easy access to Manhattan...going to do some touristy Christmas stuff with him. Watched more football...Steelers won a close on (a bit lucky) against the Ravens...still look like crap.
Cooked 2 of the filet mignons for dinner...dang they were good.
Stayed up late watching the Chiefs/Broncos game.
Fantasy team is down by 26 pts heading into tonight and I only have the Bills DST to make up the gap...so gonna lose.

One of the worst sports weekends in a while.
Dec 6, 2021, 9:25 AM

OKST and UGA shat the bed, paving the way for yet another Bama Natty.
We lost BV and are losing DRad. TE may take a crappy job. And my trust in Dabo is not what it once was, as times have changed and Dabo has been slow to adjust.
We're going to the Who Cares Bowl.
The Raiders and Jags lost. Too many pro Tigers in losing efforts.
And the F1 season may come down to an intentional crash.
Otherwise, my weekend was fine. Got some lights up. Rested. Did not overeat. Weight still at 175 dis mawn.

mostly chilled around the house Friday...watched some Ted Lasso
sat- took family pics, ate lunch out
sun- played golf. hit the ball well, scored like #### which is expected considering I haven't touched a club in 2 months. got groceries on the way home.
BV leaving hurts but I'm over it. hopefully TE is gone too. DRad going isn't that big of a deal, never really a fan anyways since I knew him at GT.

Paid way too much for a Cripmas tree Friday, but whatever we got one even though it's kind of dinky. Played in the yard, got the tree set up, etc.
Saturday wife and child had a bday party to attend, so I got myself a nice December boat ride. Didn't realize how far the lake had gone down, it's also cool to be able to see the houses once the leaves fall. Rode thru Portman, and up toward Anderson since I can get under the Centerville Rd. bridge. My boat is also filthy, this must be the year of the spider or something because I've never had so much spider poop on the boat.
Back home for Georgia/Bama, got Fruit Punch to go for dinner. Delicious as usual.
More Cripmas decorating Sunday morning, then since I had to go cover the boat up anyway took another ride. Saw a Grady dual console on someone's lift and stalked it like tiger net reporter. Then I looked online at what used ones are selling for and it crushed my dreams. Thought about draining it for the year, but looks like we'll be in the 70's next weekend so fingers crossed we get another warm weekend.

Fantastic dinner at Anchorage friday.
Saturday yardwork and got to watch the dogs choke gloriously. Wife made some great french beef thing that involved adding cognac and lighting it on fire. We now have courvosier and I Brian Phelps'd some of that while eating like a king.
Sunday more yardwork then Brent told me he was dating my cousin.
