Don't talk about the coopts much, but to put a couple things

in perspective. Spurrier was matching up against his Old DC in Ellis Johnson. The man knows how to exploit weaknesses and sharing the sidelines with that man for 3 years gave him an edge in that game. The smart money in Vegas knew this and probably made a fortune last night when the coots covered.

I am in no way saying that this was an aberration as we saw last night that Kentucky is a dangerous team as well. We will have our hands full against the old ball sack. Our offense could be humming on all cylinders and I will still be wary of this one. The guy can flat out coach and this is still a dangerous team, certainly better than what we have faced the last 3 weeks, possibly excluding Louisville.

Having said all this, our defense is the best he will see all year and I do not see Mike Davis doing much unless he can establish the passing game first, one area I think we are still vulnerable. it will be a chess match unless we can get this offense rolling again. Even with a healthy watosn, there is enough tape of this clemson O out there that a good coaching staff will know how to slow us down, something we saw last night. Yes, I am crediting Cuse for a good gameplan last night in shutting down williams and forcing stoudt into a lot of bad throws with the blitz.

We will need to bring our A game.

Kudos to you for a pretty objective post about SCar. Spur may be getting older and may continue to have a lack of couth, but the guy still has an overall good mind for the game (although he does show stunning propensity to make baffling decisions sometimes that have cost them games). He is not to be underestimated.
Also, if Dylan is given time to throw, he can sling the ball and burn you. The Tiger D is going to have to be aggressive with him all night to keep him rattled. Also, Davis is a more talented runner than ANY RB the Tigers can field (healthy or not) this year, so don't count him out either.

Gonna be interesting to see WHO is playing on our offense at that point and if we are clicking. The last three games have been rough going for Cole and company. I dunno....I just dunno...

The old ball sac can coach but he can also make some god awful calls and lose the game. I think over the past 3 years he has single handedly lost 2-3 critical games and cost them a shot at the SEC championship.

He also made multiple bone headed calls last night (that surprisingly all went his way).
