Thots and pears appreciated today fellas.

I take my final certification test today. $130 of equity to take the test.
But if I pass it, I'm done with my master's December 1st.
Then decisions have to be made.

I see a deck upgrade in your future. Anyway, good luck! Also, what decisions will you need to make if you pass?

often where I work.
I have a great job now (with the exception of about 3 months a year). So I will have to decide whether to leave a great job for my new certification or wait at my job for the job that I'm now certified in to open (which could be years)

From a professional test taker -
Nov 11, 2021, 8:13 AM
|
|
Couple of tips
Read through all the questions and answer the ones you know you know first, go in knowing you will skip some questions so you won’t get hung up part way through on something you just don’t know. Mark those answers in your book not your answer sheet so you won’t get off on the order of your answers
Put a mark next to the ones you skip so you can find them easily on the second pass.
Go back again, only reading the questions you skipped the first time through- this is key - do not look at your first pass answers again, you will only second guess yourself and change right answers. On this second pass, if it takes more than 90 seconds skip it again.
If time allows (it should if you’ve done the 1st 2 passes correctly) go back and stew over the questions you’ve skipped.
Time management is the key, make sure you leave time to transfer your answers to your answer sheet. Once you do that go back and stew over questions you still haven’t answered.
If you finish early, make sure you bubbled the right choice for each question and double check identifying info but do not go back and second guess any of your answers. Close your book, stare around the room at the poor struggling slobs, and rub one out knowing you have knocked the top off that test.
Good luck - remember “Luck comes when opportunity meets preparation“

I'm really good at tests.

I've never been able to skip a question. It makes my anxiety go through the roof.
However, I have a really good intuition or gut feeling.
I took the practice test within an hour and it's suppose to be a 4 hour test.
I made a C+
And C's get degrees.
So yeah I'm nervous, but I'm usually really good at tests. And if I fail then I just pay 130 and take it again.

Yeah you have to practice skipping it doesn’t come naturally

You can mark the ones you know you WAGed if you just can’t leave it blank and only go back to those.

My plan is instead of skipping, write down the ones

I'm not sure about.
That way my anxiety doesn't go crazy with skipped questions, but I can still go back and double check.

a test since the PE in 2008. The CFM exam is pretty straight forward, but I certainly didn't feel I knew the material well enough. I passed, but I was not confident about it. I guess not taking tests for 10-ish years gets you out of the testing mode. Anyways, good luck.

You won't need luck though. Is Masters degree a rassist term now? I can't keep up with all the bad words that weren't bad my first 59 years.

Because I can’t see you wanting to waste that equity on a failure, then have to spend more to retake.
