we were lucky that the rest of the division was garbage last year so we had time to fix things and get rolling after the all-star break. I don't think we can get away with what we did last year.

We are just wildly inconsistent and with the change in baseballs, our offensive philosophy of relying on the HR is killing us. Hopefully, we adjust and our bad luck starts changing so we can put together a run. If not, the Mets are gonna run away with the division. (They've had incredible luck this year other than deGrom going down).

I get that and they've certainly earned that reputation...

He was a good shortstop at Stetson. Mets could use him there. Francisco Lindor should be DFA
