Good insight on why UL is likely to go to the ACC

"The bottom line is that the ACC can pickup UCONN at any time. They will always be there for the ACC... nobody else wants them. Throw in the fact that UofL would give a better hold on the Midwestern states with ND and PITT and that keeping the ACC together with FSU and Clemson should be the focus of the ACC. Also taking UofL eliminates UofL from the Big 12 which should also be considered.

The ACC would be stupid to miss on the opportunity that UofL offers."

Yeah, Louisville will pack the stands in the ACC - during basketball season. We are dying a slow death in this conference.

Louisville is the right call. I totally agree with the original poster.

Here are my 9 reasons why Lousiville is a good add (better than UConn) and an upgrade over Maryland. Please comment!
