People up. So tired of the last few negative based pga tour polls. Most overrated, who would you not help in parking lot fight, etc. why is so much reporting negative based?

The players voted him most overrated. Gotta give it to him for winning a big tourney as soon as he finds that out. Never been a big fan of Rickie but what a final 10 holes he played today. $1.8M for winning? That's Masters money right there

Yea I'm wrong- thought I heard it on SC, heard again that there were 70 or so golfers interviewed... Seems like a lot of hate for the golf boys -fowler, bubba, and mahan all in the top four... Poulter is just a loser unless it's the Ryder cup, don't know how he made a list of overrated players- he's never talked about

IMHO Rickie Fowler represents all that is good with Golf. Very giving of his time to causes, always available foe his fans and positive and upwbeat. I've been following him since 2009 and I've never seen it printed that he has ever publicly dissed anyone. On the other hand, Rory Mcilroy made some crappy remarks regarding Rickie in relation to the "overrated" survey. As far as I'm concerned Rory is as personable as Tiger Woods and that's not good. Both are arrogant, aloof and self-centered! Speith and Fowler are refreshing!

I appreciate anyone who has respect for the game of golf and Fowler has shown that by honoring Payne Stewart at Pinehurst and by being in the crowd to see Arnie, Jack, and Gary hit their ceremonial opening shots at Augusta. He will always be one of my favorites. He gets the history of the game!

Rickie is a good dude and that was a crazy finish with him hitting incredibly nervy shots without blinking.
I know most of these guys have a big PR team around them, but I see a really good guy in Rickie who is about the right things. Very happy for him.
Would have loved to see Martin or Haas in there, but still happy for Fowler.

I agree. That shot he made on 17 was unbelievable. He put that ball between the water and the hole for a 5 ft. putt. Incredible.

is 13. 13! And that is not a subjective number, but an earned one. Which means the other 500 or so guys included in the rankings, like, you know, Chad Campbell at 250-something are ranked, um, higher. So in the entire known ultraverse, 12 guys have any right to comment on Ricky Fowler's game. None of whom just shot 28 over the final nine holes to win the Player's Championship.
Given all that, Ricky was way classier in victory than he needed to be. Good for him.
