Good COVID News From Charleston

MUSC Health released its newest numbers of COVID-19 hospitalizations, showing a continued dip since mid-July.

On Thursday, MUSC officials said the number of inpatients from the virus was at 49, the first time it's been under 50 since June 25, when MUSC reported 48 cases.

During that time, cases were quickly rising, going from 15 hospitalizations on June 15 before reaching its peak at 119 hospitalizations on July 16.

Since that peak, MUSC has seen a steady decline with 105 on July 20, 92 on July 23, 81 on July 27 and 63 on July 30.
