We just won the ACC Championship 7 out of 8 years. Only Alabama has done it back in the 70's . How many 10 win seasons? Finish 11 and 2 and going to a big 6 bowl and everyone complains. Complains about Dabo, complains about coordinators. Complains about portal, complains about a great signing class, complains about everything to do with this program. I went to Clemson from 74 to 78. Watched Danny Ford win a natty and then wondered in the desert for 30 plus years. Never dreamed we would win another natty let alone two more. You guys are spoiled. When the Dabo era ends and it eventually will, you will look back and wish it never ended. FSU would go back to the days of Bowden in a heart beat

Most of the naysayers show their stupidity and total lack of knowledge about football! 99% of them wouldn't know the difference between a chin strap and jock strap!!

Agreed, kinda. I’m not complaining, and I think we still have a bright future.
But I think the complainers are looking more at the 3-4 year trend and not one specific thing. Which does raise concerns about our trajectory.
Personally, I think we are building up for another great run.

My impression is that 50% (maybe more) of Tnet are Clemson haters.
I would have gone Old Testament wrath in October & November if I ran this place.

it was a 1 point loss with some truly awful QB play and with the same guy who got put in vs. UNC for that very same reason rode the bench. The next week when Cade was put in, it wasn't just b/c of two unproductive series to start the game - it was also b/c of the awful game against SC - meaning the relevant data was there, during the SC game, starting us all in the face. It wasn't fated or unavoidable. A poor decision was made.
Dabo's the best thing that ever happened to Clemson football, even still. But the hard truth of that fiasco remains. Both/and, not either/or.
