I thought Clemson was a football school.

Jul 29, 2012, 12:18 PM

I went to the College of Art and Architecture and I didn't have to design no farms thar.

I hope ya'll don't figure out how to keep that ethanol crap from stopping up their carburetters. I makes a fortune soaking em in cleaner to disolve that crap. It's tax free too. How much is a carb kit for one of them robots?

VT bound

Jul 29, 2012, 12:13 PM

Re: VT bound

Jul 29, 2012, 12:16 PM

I think the offer will continue until someone else fills the spot. That seems to be the Dabo Way.

Is AJC going to try to break the commitment?***

Jul 29, 2012, 12:31 PM [ in reply to VT bound ]

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Going to VT according to ESPN

Jul 29, 2012, 12:22 PM

oh well, I wish him well but he is missing out on something great at clemson. we need to fill his spot and get adams and a couple OL and i'll be happy.

Sorry, but ESPN is probably the most unreliable source out

Jul 29, 2012, 12:25 PM

there. They don't have near the recruiting coverage that the others have.

True, but there are quotes:

I would still love to be proven wrong, however.

Sorry but thats your opinion and mine is ESPN is the best they have the most money to hire the best recruiting analyst out there so for my money I go with ESPN.....

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It's not an opinion...

Jul 29, 2012, 12:39 PM

someone actually did the numbers between Scout, Rivals and ESPN. Rivals was the best and numbers proved it. Rivals has been doing this long and has a much larger network of reporters/evaluators than ESPN does. Rivals has a Cris Ard/Tigerillustrated type of person/website for every school, ESPN doesn't.

I'd love to see that study. I bet they didn't include the

247 recruiting service. I think they are the best.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

247 wasn't included because they weren't big

Jul 29, 2012, 12:55 PM

when the study was done. Also, I believe they have an averaging system to rank the players based on what the big three rankings are (or so I've heard).

FWIW, I don't subscribe to any. I've always been of the persuasion that why should I pay when it will be public knowledge 30 minutes later on tigernet?

I agree. Don't forget that ESPN ranked our 2008 recruiting

class number 2. How did that work out for us?
