on display for the world to see. Gohmert, I got no use for. He seems to ride the religious right/tea party rollercoaster with abandon through Trumplandia, jumping at every chance to defend the boss. I like Trey, however. He's a good person, intelligent in the execution of his office (mostly), and has a stronger sense of right and wrong than most of these partisan yahoos. *I'm lookin' at you Goodlatte.

Gowdy's behavior in the Benghazi investigation and the way

he has been handling the Trump/Russia investigation has been extremely partisan and dishonest and has no noble purpose.
Agree that he's not the dumbarse Gohmert is, but he's not acting like a person who has a strong sense of right and wrong.

Gowdy’s sense of right and wrong is incredible. If you knew him personally, instead of from your warped bias, you would agree..

I like Trey Gowdy, but I think it important to listen to why he's not running for reelection. He says it's because of the "win at all costs" of both parties. He says he's sick of it.
However, a lot of that was on display today...even from Gowdy.

It may be true that Gowdy’s a good dude

but his attempt to rattle Strzok backfired yesterday, IMO. Gowdy sounded like he was more interested in venting his own opinions of Strzok than actually conducting a congressional hearing.
BTW, how do you know Trey Gowdy?

But he looked ridiculous today. Strzok obliterated him at one point, and when Gowdy had a chance to address him again later, it was obvious he was trying to get revenge. And he went past his time and violated their own rules of order but expected the others to adhere to the rules. Not a good day for Gowdy.
Just so no Pubs start squealing, I thought a lot of Dems looked stupid, too.

Pubs are trying to corner him, but there isn't a shred of proof that his political opinions affected his work on the investigation whatsoever, and the result is they're looking mostly empty and repetitive.
AND AGAIN, since nobody answered me below...what happens if he IS biased? What are Trump, the GOP, and our super knowledgeable posters here worried is going to happen? That he'll work harder to dig up dirt on Trump, and that's just not fair, because he should be doing a perfectly average, non-biased amount of digging and investigating?

True. Dems took every moment to bring up everything ####### thing imaginable except who shot JR.
As you said, so what? So you caught an FBI agent who sent (dumb) messages stating his political opinion. Obviously if he was out to stop Trump, it didn't work. And the IG report cleared the dude.

It's astonishing that the Pubs are still on Hillary's emails....even after 7, count them 7 Republican led Congressional investigations. You'd think they lost the election.

What does the serial infidelity say about your boy Trump?
Jul 13, 2018, 9:55 AM

The reason they kept saying "point of order" is because Chairman Goodlatte had no clue what he was doing. Loved Elijah Cummings' use of his time, especially given that this was simply an attempt by Republicans to undermine the credibility of the FBI and the Mueller investigation. It was an excellent counter point. There motives were exposed for all to see.
It was a major disaster for Republicans.

bring up the infidelity question, which certainly goes to Strzok's credibility:
.
Then doesn't that also go to Trump's credibility?
My Dad used to tell me, "Show me a man that will cheat on his wife and kids and I'll show you a man that will cheat you in business."
