Report: Seth Beer to be promoted to MLB level Friday

Former Clemson baseball All-American and national player of the year Seth Beer is set for an MLB call-up this weekend, per reports. His former high school athletic director told a Georgia newspaper that Beer will join the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday in Seattle. Beer has had a standout season at A Read Update »

last weekend with my oldest son and his bride, we saw a young Tiger gal with a Clemson Baseball Jersey on with his #28 and his name, Beer, on the back. They thought it funny.

Those two young’uns on my hip had to be educated as to who Seth is. A cute button up jersey top meant more to them after our chat.

Chasing dreams is what drives those that entertain us . . . We should always encourage their lofty ambitions.
